CORE is the high school ministry of Third Reformed Church in Pella, IA. 

We are called CORE because we are community of believers striving to live with Jesus at the very core of our lives.  We would love to meet you, help you meet some students and get plugged in to any of our ministry opportunities.  Just give Craig (CORE ministry pastor) a call or an email.

CORE gatherings:  Our mid-week worship gathering takes place on Wednesday night from 7 to 8:15pm.  We meet in the multi-purpose room in student ministry space called the Foundry.  This is a great place to come to grow in your faith and worship God.  It's also a great place if you would describe yourself as just checking out God.  Our time is focused on community, worship led by a student team, and teaching from the Bible.  At CORE each student will be a part of a CORE group that will consist of mix students from different school classes and led by a student leader and an adult CORE leader.  These groups are designed to build community and will meet for just a brief time most weeks.

The Shed will be open before and after CORE with food, smoothies, and other drinks available for purchase.

Small groups:  Our small groups are your chance to get plugged into authentice discipleship, new friendships, and a ton of fun!  Students will have the chance to join a small group each semester and each group is lead by an adult mentor.  Groups are typically made up of students from the same gender and year in school.

Kingdom Prayer:  This is a group of about 30-60 students that meet every Sunday night from 8:00-9:00pm in the CORE Room (multi-purpose room).  This is where some great discipleship stuff happens as students learn from God and each other about how to study scripture, pray, worship, and hear from God.
