Print a Permission Form for CORE CAMP

Here are the key things to remember and some Q&A…
• Bring your permission form.
• Bring at least $20 for the FIRST BRICK Campaign for the children in Jinja, Uganda.
• Bring a tent or start figuring out which of your friends has one you can sleep in.
• Bring lots of warm clothes and a flashlight (hat, gloves, long underware, blanket for sitting around the campfire)!

How late can I come, or early can I leave? Students should come and set up their tents and sleeping bags sometime after school on Friday. Then the earliest that we would like students to arrive is 9:30pm and we would like everyone to be there by 10:30pm. We realize that football players may be a little later which is fine. Showers are available at church if that helps. In the morning you can leave as early as you need to. You can also come back later and take down your tent and pick up your stuff if you need to. We will have breakfast at 8:30pm and then students can start packing up.

What if I get too cold? The reason why we are sleeping outside is so that students experience a small taste of the hardship that many face each night. With that said, just like there are shelters that provide a warm place to sleep at night, we will have a guy’s and girl’s sleeping room in the church for students that get too cold.
